1 in 4 of Brits admit to brushing their teeth LESS during lockdown
We've conducted another UK wide consumer study. Last May, as dental practices were closed, we interviewed over 500 consumers to understand their fears and future plans. We have repeated that study now (March 2021). What we have learned from the study is that as a nation we continue to snack our way through the lockdown.
53% of us are consuming more chocolate, sweets, fizzy drinks and alcohol.
1-in-4 of us (27%) are brushing our teeth less often during lockdown. This has remain unchanged since the last survey was conducted, in May 2020.
Our teeth are working overtime at the moment, don't worry, they're pretty robust, but it's time to look after them.
How should I protect my teeth?
Every time you have a meal, or a snack, take a Dr Heff’s 'Remarkable Mint' to help repair your teeth from the erosion caused by eating and drinking (especially now we can go to the pub again).
Brushing twice a day is critical. But this only protects us in the mornings and evenings. Our research reveals that 65% of us (about 40 million adults in the UK) eat 3 meals a day AND snack at least once a day.
Look after your oral health because it is directly linked to your overall health.
